Effective today we are bound by a legislated act that the Canadian Federal Government passed into law late last year. The privacy legislation, titled the “Personal Information Protection & Electronic Documents Act” is designated to protect individuals in how personal information about you is collected, used & shared.

Personal information is information that identifies you as an individual. It includes information such as your name, address, telephone number, social insurance number, drivers license number, e-mail address, financial information, medical information & credit rating.

In general, the ACT requires that we obtain your consent before obtaining or using information about you or disclosing this information to others (there are some exceptions). WICKED GOURMET DOES NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH OTHERS . This requirement also applies to personal information that has already been collected about you before January 1, 2004.

Wicked Gourmet knows that you care how information about you is collected, used & shared & we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully & in a responsible manner.
